Situation Summary
An office building has approximately 20 employees. These employees are increasingly taking their laptop, PDA, or iPad back to the office on their daily activities. The corporate employer wants its employees with mobile devices to access the network. Many corporate networks are not yet prepared. The commercial Wi-Fi network is not well designed or developed to process this data.

Requests made by the employer:
- Full coverage at the office
- Secure network access for employees
- Performance problems should belong to the past

Problem
In this case involves an office building with three different rooms. Two of these areas already have cable. The use of cables in the third space is not possible because in this building it's not allowed to drill. In this space, the access point (wireless) should be connected.

Solution
In every room there should be placed one access point.
In this case was chosen for the EnGenius ECB3500. The two rooms wired the ECB3500 can be connected and configured as an access point. For all users seamlessly to log an SSID is created with a password. This should take into account the available channels: In this case 1, 6 and 11 are available.

In the third room, the EnGenius ECB3500 is wirelessly connected through the repeater mode.
It's high transmission power results in a wide range, high throughput speeds and gives a stable network. This business case used only 3 x ECB3500 thanks to the high transmission capacity of EnGenius. Other brands would need in many cases two or three wireless access points for the same scenario to work. By using  just one ECB3500 per space, it is truly a considerable cost savings in term of equipment ownership and there is less point of failures.
